User Information and Safety Guidelines#
General Provisions#
Welcome to our product. To ensure that you use this equipment safely and correctly and fully understand the associated rights and responsibilities, read and comply with this User Information and Safety Guidelines document carefully. Once you begin using the equipment, you are deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of its terms. In particular, you must read and understand all safety information in this manual before powering on the equipment for the first time. It is essential that you follow all assembly instructions and operating guidelines in this manual. Pay particular attention to all Caution and Warning symbols and their associated text.
Safe Operating Practices#
In addition to following all safety guidelines above, take the following precautions during teleoperation to address potential risks in more complex scenarios:
- Network latency management: When using a wireless connection, closely monitor network fluctuations. If the operator perceives noticeable teleoperation latency, stop operation immediately. Command latency may cause the robot to move much farther than expected, resulting in a collision or loss of stability.
- Cable management for wired connections: When using a wired connection, manage all cables properly. Route cables appropriately and alert everyone present to prevent the operator or others from tripping over them.
- Operating-area management: Define a clear, obstacle-free physical area for the VR operator so that the operator does not collide with walls or other people while moving or turning during immersive operation.
- Interaction during teleoperation: Handshaking is not recommended when interacting with people.
